24th June 2010
had korean lessons and ended so late! okay it was late compared to the other days.
went to the department store after the lessons since the classroom was so near to the shopping mall.
25th June 2010
went for Busan City tour today, was super fun! okay it could have been better without the rain.
25th June 2010 marks the start of rainy season of korea and tada!~ it was raining the whole day after the ferry tour.
went to haeundae beach and had a tour on the ferry from haeundae beach, saw the gwangalli beach, gwangan grand bridge(longest bridge in korea?), the apec house and back to the haeundae beach. of course, with many rocks in between and there was this tree growing on top of the rocks and it was 200 yrs old.
took lots of photos and had super unique lunch. hahha the food looked super exquisite (not sure what you use to describe food). anyway sitting beside dai zek lou was really a painful experience. that was because we weren't interested in each other.
and doh rey bang after shopping! it's so cheap here! we paid less than 2000won per person for about 1.5hrs. and the room looks really nice and comfy with tamburines and nice disco lights. hehehe.
and skinfood shopping after that! bought mj's stuffs and i felt less stressful after this. cuz i kept thinking that i won't have enough to spend.
26th June 2010
the rainy season really spoils my mood. didn't get the travel far today, it was just studying and doing assignment in the morning, followed by lunch then assignment again. awwww. and i kept hearing the raindrops from the balcony. BELISIAN.
went to the mall near school after that and shopped around.
had berry&banana smoothie. thought the combination was quite weird but it turned out nice! hehe!
and rushed back to school for dinner.
and i'm back nua-ing again.
haiz.
i wanna go out and explore.
feels BELISIAN >

23rd June 2010
it feels weird blogging at this time of the day! (it's 5.20am singapore time, 6.20am korea time)
just came back from watching soccer match- korea vs nigeria.
the atmosphere is really different from that in the vietnam airport! hahah! though it was about the same time. (3 plus 4 am?) and when we came out from the pub that we were at watching soccer, the sky was bright as though it was 8am. summer time! :)
time in korea passes so fast! and it's the 3rd day of the program. really enjoying the time here and i wish i can stay here longer. hmmms
not to say the lovely taekwondo class with mr shuai ge OMT. >.< when he walked in i was like OOOH so shuai! hahahah! liuying too! we were uber excited mans.
lesson with sanitary pad was boring to the core. i think the prof's like really so into his field that noone in the classroom is able to clique with whaat he is saying.
okay looking forward to shopping laters!
my bag my shoes my skinfood and my faceshop! :)

21st June 2010
Tired tired! Woke up with swollen eyes and I'm suspecting it was the mask's fault. HAHA. okay I seldom do this kind of facial thingy so I guess my skin is unable to adapt to huge amounts of water applied to my skin.
Went down for breakfast and realise I forgot to bring the bread down, and I went up to grab it and stupidly left the key in the room and locked myself out from the dorm room. stupid aint I? Had to trouble Jon to help me translate to the security guard about the situation and got the master key. Then hurried for lessons after grabbing my wallet and the dorm key. DIAO!~
Lesson was super boring. It reminds me of zhongyao lessons with that Japanese-loooking china man. Total chui1 mian2 and I was dozing off even while the prof was intro-ing himself. BORING!
Went to PNU's IRO for some orientation thingy and lunch. PIZZA! love their pizza it was really tasty. And the chicken, macaroni, salad, etc etc, yummy!~ And the conversation about detoxy-ing was really diao! Our poor dear Jon must have felt so left out cuz he didn't understand a least bit of mandarin!
And im back in dorm, slacking now, preparing for the war in the streets later for my skin food, bag and shoes. TATA~!~

20th June 2010
Shopping day!
Went to Seomyeon and on the way down the hill from PNU, we observed that the whole street was empty. SIAONESS. Such quite streets on weekends, could hardly believe it. Communicating with the ahjumma at the convenient store was really a tedious task. We were like ducks and chickens talking to each other. Anyway we finally got our ker tong card and it was so cute prease!
Took the subway to Seomyeon and walked around the underground mall. It was full of ahjumma clothes and ahjusshi fashion and so we bu4 zhi1 bu4 jue2 walked to a wet market that was above the underground mall. The wet market was SUPER INTERESTING! hahhaha! sells garlics in bundles and there was this garlic factory with MANY MANY bundles of garlic. Tasted the bean soup and it was salty hahaha!
Went into convenient stores, and ION MALL. okay the ion mall is not the leastb it like Singapore's, it was small and narrow and no shops and those shops that were there were either cafes (like starbucks, coffeebean) or electronic shop. There was this very compact lamp that I really really feel like buying cuz it's so compact and so cute and the on/off button is by touch (not buttons like those conventional ones we have in Singapore).
Next was Lotte Departmental Store. Ate lunch at Lotteria before going shopping. We saw a very special brand called the BeLiSian brand wahahha. Shall grab a photo from Hanning :)
There was nothing to buy-- everything is branded and expensive and sobx I'm really poor. Walked till i really belisian and we decided to explore the streets. BUT there wasn't much on the streets too. Really sian-ed. And we couldn't go elsewhere cuz we agreed to meet the guys like 2 hrs later. And so we wandered and wandered. And suddenly we saw the guys observing donut making process outside the krispy and kreme shop. heh!
Went to this bookstore that sells books in korean (like duh) and the only english books they have was textbooks and fairytales.
Next stop: dinner at some japanese and korean fusion restaurant at the Lotte shopping mall. Oh wells. The serivce was really just so so but the price of the food was kind of reasonable, 6500 won for a bowl of udong.
Walked past some streets and there were lu4 bian1 tan1s! AHAHA my favourite! hehehe but abit paiseh to let the rest wait for me while i slowly hagger with my CMI korean phrases that I read online. HMMS. Didn't manage to get anything but wells.
Wanted to get back to PNU already and just nice outside the subway entrance there was FACESHOP. WAHAHA. I bought like quite alot of facial products (for once). HAPPY HAPPY after spending money! YAY!
More surprises await us when we return to PNU- SHOPPING HEAVEN just outside PNU subway station! AHHH! my bag! my shoe! mj's skinfood! woots! okay promises myself to die die drag my legs here tml and shop till i drunk HAHHAA.
The walk back up to dorm was hilarious:
CJ: Why your buddy so enthu walk so fast?
Kavin: Cuz he wore sunglasses in the day when we walked down, so he is able to recognise the place so well even in the dark.
Had mask party in some student lounge after we bathed cuz everyone, including the guys, bought face masks. We were masking while chit chatting and the guys were watching soccer. HMMS.
HAHA. OKAY. annyeong!~~

18th June 2010
Gathered at Changi Airport and the check-in took super long, like nearly an hour plus the queueing up. The counter guy told us that he is unable to do group check in like 20mins after we have queued. Boomz. But anyway he helped us in the end and ended up like slower. Or slowest, maybe.
The whole journey was super tiring. Jet lag. I experience it though it's only 1 hr difference from Singapore.Didn't sleep for the whole of the first trip to Vietnam. Nearly dozed off during the transit in Vietnam while staring at the TV screen that was broadcasting World Cup, and while listening to my fav song! YAY! Cinderella Sister OST rocks. LOLS
The next flight was slightly delayed, for about 40mins. The flight was really long, from Vietnam to Seoul. Slept a little but there were 2 ahjusshi spamming conversations so loudly. Although they were sitting a few seats away from me but it was still. Their boomz voice woke me up while I was about to fall asleep. And since then I couldn't sleep le. Sian. Plus the seats on the plane was super small lah no space to put my fat trotters. URGH.
Reached Seoul at last. SO HAPPY PREASE :) Looked for the KTX booth and collected our tickets. YAY NESS.
BUT NO. Traveling to the KTX station at Seoul station was siaoness. We had to transit 2 trains which was hell. Came out from some subway station and TADA SHOCK! had to climb a long long flight of stairs that was like NJ's entrance stairway. OMT. okay, I think it's really good to have good travel mates, like the guys in our group were very spontaneous and volunteered to help us with our luggages. OK I AM REALLY ESPECIALLY SORRY cuz my luggage is like crazily heavy. The guys were really very very nice. hahahha. *guilty*
Okay super jet lag. finally reached the KTX station and we ran for our lives for the train. hahha. and slept like crazy during the KTX trip.
Reached Busan station and we were all like dreaming already. Finally. Meeting our korean buddies was also a tough one as there were many exits at Busan. Wells. Anyway we finally met them and they brought us on a campus tour after we left our luggages at the dormitories. Super armache and we decided to just eat and continue campus tour, walk around abit before we go back to our dorms and say goodnight! :)
